All the siding had extensive failing paint.

Surface Preparation: Powerwashed the entire house to remove dirt and grim, to ensure a clean surface for new paint adhesion. Allowed the house dry out for 3 weeks as per the client request for extra dry time. Scrapers to remove all the loose flaking paint and orbital sanders with 60-80 grit sand paper to sand down the lips and alligatoring spots. Applied elastomeric latex based caulking to all cracks in the wood siding along with separated wood in the window frames and door frames to prevent moisture.

Painting Details: Applied all paint by brush and roller. Full coat of Dulux Gripper oil based primer for all bare wood. 2 coats of  Sherwin Williams A100 flat for all wood siding to allow for a full colour change. Duration Satin finish for all trim (window frames, fascia and soffit posts).
